Some holidays need a spreadsheet. A beach week in Caloundra needs about three decisions: how many nights, which apartment, and whether you're in the pool or the ocean first. Rolling Surf Resort sits directly opposite Kings Beach, so most of the planning is done for you.
Here's what a stay looks like, what it costs, and how to lock today's price in for a $99 deposit without choosing your dates yet.

Kings Beach is Caloundra's main patrol beach: a sweep of golden sand with grassy foreshore, a saltwater pool on the rocks and the coastal boardwalk that wanders around the headland towards Bulcock Beach and the Pumicestone Passage. Cafes and restaurants line the beachfront, so a morning coffee, a swim and lunch can happen without ever moving the car.
That makes it an easy pick for families with young kids, couples who want a slow few days, and groups of friends splitting a two-bedroom apartment.
| Apartment | Sleeps | 3 nights | 5 nights | 7 nights |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 1 Bedroom Poolside Balcony | 2 | $599 (RRP $1,299) | $999 (RRP $1,699) | $1,299 (RRP $1,899) |
| 2 Bedroom Poolside Balcony | 4 | $699 (RRP $1,499) | $1,099 (RRP $1,999) | $1,399 (RRP $2,499) |
| 2 Bedroom Pool Entry | 4 | $799 (RRP $1,599) | $1,199 (RRP $2,099) | $1,499 (RRP $2,599) |
| 2 Bedroom Balcony Poolside Rooftop | 4 | $899 (RRP $1,699) | $1,299 (RRP $2,199) | $1,599 (RRP $2,699) |
Your $99 deposit comes off these totals. That's up to 54% off RRP, and you don't have to pick your apartment or nights until you book.
Which one should you choose? Couples: the 1 Bedroom Poolside Balcony is the best value. Families with kids who live in the water: the 2 Bedroom Pool Entry lets you step from your balcony straight into the pool. Want a bit of space to yourselves at night? The Rooftop apartment adds a private rooftop deck and a spa bath in the master ensuite.

Check in, crack the bottle of wine, and go straight across the road to Kings Beach. If the surf's up, the saltwater pool on the Kings Beach foreshore is calmer swimming for kids. Dinner is a short walk along the beachfront.
Walk the coastal boardwalk from Kings Beach around to Bulcock Beach and the Pumicestone Passage, where the water is flat and shallow. It's a good spot to hire a kayak or a stand-up paddleboard. Back at the resort, the afternoon belongs to the 60-metre pool.
Drive inland for the Glass House Mountains lookouts and Australia Zoo, both an easy day trip from Caloundra. Or do nothing at all: that late 11am checkout (subject to availability) means your last morning doesn't have to be a rush.
No stress if your dates don't work out: every voucher comes with our 30-Day Booking Availability Guarantee. If you can't find available dates within 30 days of purchase, you're eligible for a full refund of your deposit (subject to availability within the voucher's travel dates, excluding blackout dates).
